If you are making a RESERVATION, please leave your NAME, PHONE NUMBER along with the DATE of the SHOW and the amount of people in your PARTY. If you are calling for INFORMATION we will return the call on a timely basis.
All regular tickets are $25 (CASH) at the door unless otherwise indicated
Dinner Reservation Policy
We no longer have a Friday Night Dinner Show inside the Comedy Room. You can have dinner before the show inside the Georgine's Dining Room and come for the show after your dinner.
A Small Plate Fare Menu is available inside the Comedy Room before and during regular shows.
We now have limited shows on Friday evenings and some Saturday evenings during the month. We open the doors for Comedy at 7 PM with the show starting at 8 PM unless otherwise noted. Please check our website for an updated show schedule. Thank you.

Audience Behavior
The Comedy Works wants everyone attending the show to have a fun time. In order to guarantee a good show, we retain the right not to admit anyone who is intoxicated or remove anyone who becomes disruptive during the show from excessive talking or heckling, etc. In the event that they are removed or asked to leave during the show, there will be no refunds.

The Comedy Works started in 1980 on the 3rd floor of the Middle East restaurant located on Chestnut St. in Philadelphia, Pa.
The club had a unique room with seating for over 300 people There was a balcony area and a room that defined what a true comedy club should be.
The club was open every day of the week, with 2 shows a night from Thursday through Sunday. There were days for open mic nights where upcoming comedians could try their new material.
During the 10 years that the Comedy Works was open in downtown Philadelphia, many new and upcoming comedians started at the club. They include;
Jerry Seinfield, Jim Carey
Jay Leno , Eddie Murphy
Paul Reiser, Howie Mandel
Ralph Harris, Todd Glass
In 1990 the Comedy Works opened their second club in the Bucks County Area at Georgine's Restaurant located in Bristol, Pa.
Smaller in size, the club seats 225 people and offers great comedy, good food and FREE PARKING!
Now in it's 33 RD year at Georgine's Restaurant, the Comedy Works is still going strong as the longest and oldest comedy club in the Philadelphia region.
In the 34 years that we have been at Georgine's Restaurant, we have continued the tradition of bringing many new and upcoming comedians to our stage that have moved on to national recognition. They include;
Rich Vos, Lisa Lampanelli
Jim Norton, Keith Robinson
Paul Tompkin and
Jim Florentine,
Reverend Bob Levy (Howard Stern Show) and
Julia Scotti (America's Got Talent)
